With the advent of the regulation of Hedge Funds which took effect in July 2015, retail investors are now allowed to invest in Hedge Funds and Long Only funds directly and are protected through a raft of measures designed to preserve capital and minimise risk.
This, together with the fact that asset managers have traditionally had a predominate focus on high net worth individuals and institutional investors makes our objectives unique and ecompassing for all South Africans.
